AFSP’s 2025 New Jersey Advocacy Action Day

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Advocacy Action Days bring together passionate volunteers to advocate for state policy changes that will improve mental health and prevent suicide. Join us for an opportunity to learn how you can impact legislation and your lawmakers by:

Sharing with them why suicide prevention is important to YOU and to your community
Educating them about the work being done in your community to prevent suicide
Teaching them what more must be done to prevent suicide.

Advocates will participate in a brief training session on the basics of an effective advocacy visit and current policy issues impacting suicide prevention.
